Tripathi Appointed OSD to Union Home Minister

Tripathi, who has been serving in various capacities in the Government of India since August 2014, was earlier posted as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation. He was appointed to that post on August 19, 2024, for a tenure of four years.

Shashank Mani Tripathi was born and raised in Uttar Pradesh, where he completed his early education. He later pursued a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering before joining the IAS. Among other departments he has also served in the Ministry of Shipping.

An official order issued on Sunday confirmed his reassignment to the Ministry of Home Affairs with immediate effect.
