Today's Appointments: Nilabhra Dasgupta is appointed as deputy chairperson of Paradip Port Authority

AHMEDABAD: Additional Director of Income Tax (Investigation) in Ahmedabad Nilabhra Dasgupta has been appointed as Deputy Chairperson of Paradip Port Authority in Odisha.

He is a 2008 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of Income Tax cadre. His appointment is for five years on deputation basis.

Paradip Port is a major port owned by the Government of India.

In another appointment, the government of India appointed Kerala cadre IAS of 2009 batch Venkatesapathy S, IAS as Director in the M/o Ports, Shipping & Waterways. His appointment is for five years.

Similarly, Shankhesh Mehta, IRS officer belonging to Customs and Central Excise cadre of 2009 batch has been appointed as a director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, for five years.
