TN Government Transfers 5 IAS Officers, Creates New Key Posts
An order stated that the newly created posts would remain temporary for one year or until the need ceases, whichever is earlier

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday issued an order for a major reshuffle involving five IAS officers, and announced the creation of several temporary senior administrative posts across key departments.
According to G.O. (Rt.) No.1738 issued by the Public (Special-A) Department, senior IAS officer Pradeep Yadav has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Information Technology and Digital Services Department. He was earlier serving as Secretary to the then Deputy Chief Minister.
T.N. Venkatesh, Principal Secretary and Vice Chairman & CEO of the Tamil Nadu Maritime Board, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles, and Khadi Department.
P. Shankar, who was Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary to the Government, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department.
In another transfer, G. Latha, Commissioner of the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, has been posted as Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
The government also posted B. Gayathri Krishnan (on return from leave) as Director (Social Security Schemes) in the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.
Separately, the services of Deepak Jacob, Director of Survey and Settlement, have been placed at the disposal of GUIDANCE for appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
