The service tenures of three officers belonging to different All-India and Central Services have been extended for different periods of time.
The officers include 1999-batch Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) Aseem Kumar, 1998-batch Rajasthan cadre Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Priya Ranjan and 1993-batch Indian Railway Service Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) Sushil Kumar Singh.
The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) in its order said, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy for extension of service in the Central Deputation tenure under the central staffing scheme of Aseem Kumar, IDSE (1999), the Director in the Ministry’s office for a period of two years beyond 28.06.2025 and up to 28. 06.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.” Kumar’s central deputation commenced from 29.06.2020, it added.
In an another order the DoPT said, “The ACC has approved the proposal of the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for ex-post facto approval of extension of entrustment of additional charge for the post of Managing Director, National Horticulture Board to Priya Ranjan, IFoS (RJ;1998), Joint Secretary in the department for a period of six months with effect from 23.03.2025 or till appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earliest.”
Similarly, the tenure of IRSME officer Sushil Kumar Singh’s tenure in the office has also been extended, as the DoPT said, the ACC has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways to allow him to continue with the entrustment of additional charge of the post of the Chairperson (JS level), Mumbai Port Authority to Singh, who also hold the position of the Chairperson, Deendayal Port Authority. The proposal has been approved for a period of six months with effect from 02.04.2025 or till regular appointment to the post or until further order, whichever is earliest.
