Three IPS Officers From Gujarat Empanelled For IG-Level Posts

2007 Batch Officers Divya Mishra, Deepan Bhadran, and Saurabh Tolumbia among 65 cleared by ACC

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 65 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers for appointment to the post of Inspector General (IG) or equivalent at the central level. Among them are three officers from the Gujarat cadre of the 2007 batch—Divya Mishra, Deepan Bhadran, and Saurabh Tolumbia.

This official order, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, includes officers from various states across the country. Notably, Deepan Bhadran, originally from Kerala and holding a B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering, has made a mark as one of the most dynamic IPS officers serving in Gujarat.

It is worth mentioning that two years ago, officers from the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), including IPS officer Deepan Bhadran and his team, were awarded the Special Operations Medal for cracking one of the state's largest drug busts. Divya Mishra has also served in several key roles across Ahmedabad city and other parts of Gujarat.
