Thakur Appointed NITI Aayog Advisor

Rajeev Singh Thakur (IAS 1995 batch from Rajasthan cadre) has been appointed as Adviser, NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post and extending the central deputation tenure for a period of one year beyond 03.12.2024. Currently, he is Additional Secretary, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Government sources also said Vineet Vinayak (IPS, 1995 batch from Sikkim cadre) has been appointed to the post of Additional Director General (ADG) in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for a period of five years.
