Senior Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer Takhat Singh Ranawat (2007 batch) has been appointed the Private Secretary to the Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel (H.D. Kumaraswamy) in the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
According to an order, the appointment is with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a period up to 24.11.2026 (for the balance period of the five-year tenure as the PS), or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, or till he ceases to function as the PS to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
