Late Monday evening, the General Administration Department issued the transferred orders. It said Dwivedi, a 1998-batch officer, will take charge as the principal secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department as the department’s Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Aggarwal is set to retire on October 31.

Others who have been transferred are Commissioner of Health, Medical Services and Medical Education, Shahmeena Husain. She has been appointed principal secretary, Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar department in place of Dwivedi.

Youth and Cultural Activities Commissioner Harshad Patel has been appointed the new Commissioner of Health. Alok Kumar Pandey, commissioner of relief in the revenue department, has been given the additional charge of Patel’s department.
