The Gujarat government, late last night, issued posting orders for 28 junior IPS officers of the 2017 batch and promoted seven IPS officers of the 2013 batch to Selection Grade Level-13, while retaining them at their existing places of posting. Lavina Varesh Sinha has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), Ahmedabad, while Sushil Agrawal has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Vadodara. The majority of officers have been posted as Superintendents of Police. Among the officers posted in cities, Andrews Macwan has been posted in Vadodara City, Panna N. Momaya in Surat city, Harshadkumar K. Patel and Bhagirath T. Gadhvi in Ahmedabad, Harpalsinh M. Jadeja in Rajkot, and Rushikesh B. Upadhyay in Vadodara as Deputy Commissioners of Police. Meanwhile, the State government has also promoted seven IPS officers of the 2013 batch to Selection Grade Level-13. These include Rahul Tripathi, Himkar Singh, Rohan Anand, Yashpal Jaganiya, Manish Singh, M. J. Chavda, and Usha Rada.
