IAS Officer Rahul Fating Gets Additional Charge As PS To Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh
The appointment will come into effect from the date of assumption of charge and will continue till April 19, 2031

The Central Government has assigned an additional charge to 2012-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Rahul Haridas Fating, who is serving as Private Secretary to Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh.
He will now also serve as Private Secretary in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, in addition to his existing role in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on May 12, 2026, Fating Rahul Haridas will serve as Private Secretary to the Minister in addition to his present assignment in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
The order stated that the Competent Authority approved the proposal of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj for Fating’s appointment to the additional role. He is currently serving as Private Secretary to Rajiv Ranjan Singh in the Panchayati Raj Ministry as well.
The appointment will come into effect from the date of assumption of charge and will continue till April 19, 2031, or on a co-terminus basis with the tenure of the minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
