Mohit Soni Appointed OSD To Urban Affairs Minister

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the appointment of Mohit Soni as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal.
An official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) stated that Soni, a private individual, has been appointed on a contract basis at the Deputy Secretary level.
His tenure will be for four years from the date he assumes charge, or will remain co-terminus with the Minister’s term, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
