Jagdish Prasad Gupta Appointed Chairman Of GIPCL

The Gujarat government appointed Jagdish Prasad Gupta as Chairman of the Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited

On November 9, 2024, the Government of Gujarat appointed Jagdish Prasad Gupta as Chairman of the Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL).

Gupta is a 1991-batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer. Before taking over as the Chairman of GIPCL, he was the Additional Chief Secretary of the Tribal Development Department of the state government.

Prior to that, he served as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Finance Department at the Gujarat Secretariat.

Jagdish Prasad Gupta replaced A K Rakesh, who retired from the services on July 31, 2024.
