Gujarat transfers 16 IAS officers; Key postings in Vadodara, Bhavnagar

Arun Mahesh Babu, Managing Director of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL), has been transferred and appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara, replacing Dilipkumar Rana, who will now serve as the Commissioner of the Higher Education Department.

Neha Kumari, earlier the District Collector of Mahisagar, has been appointed as the Mission Director of the Gujarat State Electronics Mission under the Science and Technology Department. In her place, Arpit Sagar, former Deputy Commissioner of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, will take charge as the Collector of Mahisagar.

Surbhi Gautam, Joint Managing Director of GIDC, has been appointed as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities in Vadodara, while Prashant Jilovani, Additional Industries Commissioner, has been posted to the same role in Ahmedabad. Shalini Duhan, Secretary of Urban Development, has been transferred to serve as the Collector of Dangs.

Tushar Kumar Bhatt, Managing Director of Gujarat Informatics Limited, has been appointed as the Collector of Patan. RR Damor has been asked to take charge as the Joint Secretary of Climate Change, while Bhavya Verma, Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission, has been posted as the Collector of Valsad.

In a key transfer, Dr NK Meena has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Bhavnagar.

In the Health Department, Ganga Singh, former Managing Director of the Gujarat Medical Services Corporation, has been assigned as the Deputy Municipal Commissioner in Vadodara.
