Gujarat Govt Transfers 14 IFS Officers; 3 Retain Additional Charge

Sanjay Kumar Srivastava appointed APCCF for Research and Training, Nisha Raj posted to Mahi Sagar Forest Division

A total of 14 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers have been transferred in Gujarat. According to an order issued by the State Forest and Environment Department, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava has been transferred to the Research and Training division as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF). He will also continue to hold the additional charge of his previous post.

Similarly, G. Ramana Murthy has been posted as APCCF in Financial Management and Planning. He will also retain his additional responsibility of Social Forestry-1 (NREGA).

Nisha Raj, who was serving as Managing Director of the Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation, has been transferred as Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) in the MahiSagar Forest Division. However, she will also continue to hold the additional charge of her previous role at the Corporation.

These transfers also include officers at the DCF level. Additionally, the state government has transferred around 35 officers from the Gujarat Forest Service.
