Gujarat Government Elevates Three Chief Engineers To Secretary Rank

The General Administration Department of Gujarat has promoted three Chief Engineers to the rank of Grade-II Secretary, assigning them to key departments within the state administration.

Ketan Kumar, previously serving as Chief Engineer (Quality Control) at the Narmada Nigam, has been promoted and appointed as Additional Chief Executive Officer at the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA), which functions under the Revenue Department.

The other two officers have been retained within the Narmada and Water Resources Department. Dharmanshu Chhaganlal Thacker, who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Kalpasar Department, has been elevated to the position of Special Secretary in the same department. Likewise, Mahesh Devkaran Patel, earlier posted as Additional Secretary in the Narmada and Water Resources Department (North Gujarat), has been promoted to Special Secretary in the Water Resources Department.
