Gujarat Government Announces Appointments, Additional Charges For IAS Officers

The Gujarat government has announced appointments and additional charge allocations for IAS officers across various departments in the state. The changes are related to the Health, Revenue, Land Records and Finance departments.
According to the order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Commissioner of Health (Rural) Dr. Ratankanvar H. Gadhavi Charan has been given the additional charge of Commissioner of the Nutrition Mission. The post has been equated with an IAS cadre post at the Secretary level.
In another significant reshuffle, Settlement Commissioner B.A. Shah has been appointed as Commissioner of Land Reforms and Ex-Officio Secretary. Following his transfer, Ardra Agarwal has been assigned the additional charge of Settlement Commissioner.
Apart from this, Arvind V. has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department (Budget). He will also hold the additional charge of Additional Commissioner of State Tax in Ahmedabad. With this, Dr. Prashant Jilova has been relieved of the additional charge.
