Gujarat Forest Department Reshuffle: Top IFoS Officers Transferred

As per a notification, a series of transfers and additional charge assignments among senior Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officers has been announced

The Gujarat government's Forests and Environment Department has issued a notification announcing a series of transfers and additional charge assignments among senior Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officers.

As per the official order, the following officials have transferred:

Anirudh Pratap Singh, IFoS (GJ-RR-1990), serving as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, has been transferred and appointed as Managing Director of the Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Ltd., Vadodara. He replaces Anshuman Sharma, IFoS (GJ-RR-2008), who has been transferred.

Jaipal Singh, IFoS (GJ-RR-1991), currently Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Wildlife, and Chief Wildlife Warden, Gandhinagar, will hold the additional charge of the post of In-Charge Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, until further orders.

Sandeep Kumar, IFoS (GJ-RR-2005), Chief Conservator of Forests, Vadodara Circle, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Conservator of Forests (Working Plan), Gandhinagar. He succeeds S. K. Srivastava, IFoS (GJ-RR-1996), who was holding additional charge of the post.

Anshuman Sharma, IFoS (GJ-RR-2008), Managing Director of Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Ltd., Vadodara, has been transferred and appointed as Chief Conservator of Forests, D & M, Gandhinagar.

Nisha Raj, IFoS (GJ-RR-2012), Conservator of Forests, Kevadia Wildlife Circle, Kevadia, will hold the additional charge of Chief Conservator of Forests, Vadodara Circle, Vadodara, until further orders.

Sadik Sallauddin Mujawar, IFoS (GJ-RR-2014), Deputy Conservator of Forests (Administration), Gandhinagar, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Conservator of Forests (PLO), Gandhinagar. He takes over from Chandresh Shanadre, GFoS, who was holding additional charge of the post.

These administrative changes are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline forest governance and strengthen leadership across key positions.
