Gujarat CM’s OSD A B Gor Gets One-Year Extension

Retired IAS officer A B Gor, former Vadodara Collector, receives a one-year extension as OSD in Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel’s office, with his tenure now extended until March 31, 2026

The Gujarat government has extended the tenure of A B Gor, a retired IAS officer from the 2009 batch, as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s office for another year.

Prior to his retirement, Gor served as the Collector of Vadodara, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the magisterial inquiry into the Harni boat mishap. He has an extensive experience working with Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). In January, he was transferred from Vadodara to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Gor, who hails from Dawad village near Idar in Sabarkantha district, was promoted within the IAS cadre in 2022.
