Gujarat Clears Postings For 17 Promoted IAS Officers, Transfers One

Priti Sharma shifted from PGVCL to GUVNL as Director (Administration), while N.F. Chaudhary has been appointed MD of UGVCL, replacing Ajay Prakash who was holding the position as additional charge

After a long wait, 17 officers who were recently promoted from the Gujarat Administrative Service (GAS) to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have finally received their regular postings. The Gujarat General Administration Department announced the new appointments, and the officers are expected to assume their new roles shortly. In addition to these postings, one officer has also been transferred.

Among the key changes, Priti Sharma, previously the Managing Director (MD) of Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL), has been moved to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) as Director (Administration). D.K. Brahmbhatt, one of the newly promoted officers, will now serve as MD of Gujarat Medical Services Corporation, while K.P. Joshi has been appointed as the new MD of PGVCL.

Kavita Shah, who was earlier associated with the National Health Mission, has been transferred and appointed as Director of IT and e-Governance. D.D. Jadeja will now head the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission as its Director. N.V. Upadhyay takes over as the Collector of Gir Somnath, and Nitin Sangwan has been named Director of Employment and Training.

Other appointments include C.C. Kotak as Deputy Director General at the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Ahmedabad, and V.I. Patel as CEO of the Gujarat Municipal Finance Board. P.A. Ninama has been made MD of the Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, while N.F. Chaudhary has been appointed as MD of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL), a role previously held as an additional charge by Ajay Prakash.
