Department of Defence Gets New Director, Dy Secy

Under the Central Staffing Scheme, K V Tirumala, ITradeS (2009) has been appointed Director in the D/o Defence, Delhi, for five years or until further orders, after he was recommended by the D/o Commerce.

Similarly, Shilpi Chopda, IRS (IT:2015) has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the D/o Defence for four years or until further orders, after she was recommended by the Department of Revenue. Both officers are to be relieved of their existing duties immediately to take up their new assignments.
