Delhi Government Transfers IAS, DANICS Officers

The sudden decision taken by the Rekha Gupta government created quite a buzz, particularly the transfers at the senior level. Many have, however, termed it as an administrative reshuffle to improve operational efficiency and accountability.

Senior IAS officer Prashant Goyal has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary for Food and Civil Supplies, with an additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) for both the Delhi Financial Corporation (DFC) and the Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (DSCSC); and Narendra Kumar has been appointed as the Finance Commissioner.

Saumya Saurabh has been appointed as the District Magistrate (DM) of the North-West District. She has also been given a posting within the Department of Industries. Navalendra Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of GST. Sonika Singh has been appointed as one of the Commissioners in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

Harshit Jain has been appointed as the Joint Secretary in the Legislative Assembly.

Mangal Saini has been appointed as the Superintendent of the Central Jail. Om Prakash Saini has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). Vinay Kumar, a DANICS officer, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Urban Development Department. 

Another DANICS officer, Amit Kumar, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in the Election Commission.

Among the other DANICS officers, Vijay Singh has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Badli.

Manoj Kumar appointed as the Assistant Director, DOV. Bhoop Singh has been appointed as the Deputy Director, Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board (DAMB). Mukesh Kumar is appointed as the Assistant Commissioner, F&S; Ashish Shokeen has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner, F&S; Ashwini Kumar is appointed as the Assistant Commissioner, T&T; Shaurya Veer Singh has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary (ACL); and Atul Ramchiary is Deputy Director, DOV.
