Centre Makes Large-Scale Reshuffle Of Senior Officials; Anurag Agarwal Sent To MEA

In all, 17 senior officers have been appointed or reshuffled at the level of additional secretaries and financial advisors in various departments/ministries

The government on Monday made large-scale reshuffle and appointments at the level of additional secretaries in the central administration. Anurag Agarwal from the Punjab cadre has been made the additional secretary & financial advisor in the Ministry of External Affairs while Rupinder Brar from the Income Tax cadre has been made additional secretary in the Ministry of Coal.

In all, 17 senior officers have been appointed or reshuffled at the level of additional secretaries and financial advisors in various departments/ministries.

The notification for these appointments was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) after the approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
