Centre Appoints Piyush Singla as Director in National Health Authority

Piyush Singla, who was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, will serve under the Department of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi. The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme and will come into effect from the date he assumes charge of the post.

According to the memorandum, the tenure will remain co-terminus with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and may be extended further as per the admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also been directed to relieve the officer immediately so that he can take up the new assignment without delay.

The DoPT has further stated that the officer must join the new post within three weeks from the date of issuance of the appointment order, failing which the process of debarment from the Central Staffing Scheme may be initiated.
