In a bid to strengthen district-level and department-wise governance in the State, the Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders transferring several IAS officers. This is part of a state-wide administrative reshuffle.
The order has been issued by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, stating that this reshuffle was intended to enhance administrative efficiency across municipal bodies, districts, and key departments.
According to the official order, Kathawate Mayur Ashok (IAS: 2018) has been appointed as Municipal Commissioner of the Guntur Municipal Corporation. He has been transferred from Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, P. Sreenivasulu (IAS: 2017), Municipal Commissioner of the Guntur Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate in Markapuram district.
Gopala Krishna Ronanki (IAS: 2017) has been posted as the Joint Secretary in the Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Department.
The order also included postings at the district level. Nidhi Meena, C. Vishnu Charan, Mallavarapu Suryteja, and Adharsh Rajeendran have been posted as Joint Collectors respectively in the YSR Kadapa district, Anantapur district, Anakapalli district, and Chittoor district.
Meanwhile, Shrivas Nupur Ajaykumar (IAS: 2018) has been appointed as the Director of Civil Supplies.
R. Govinda Rao (IAS: 2018) has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA).
Kalpana Kumari (IAS: 2018) has been transferred from the Girijan Cooperative Corporation and posted as the Joint Collector, Prakasam district.
The order also indicated more administrative reshuffles.
