Ahmedabad Range IG Role Handed to IPS Officer Vidhi Chaudhary

Following J.R. Mothaliya’s retirement, Vidhi Chaudhary, a 2009-batch Gujarat cadre IPS officer, takes charge after serving as Joint Commissioner of Ahmedabad City Special Branch

IPS officer Vidhi Chaudhary has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Ahmedabad Range, succeeding J.R. Mothaliya, who retired on February 28. Prior to this appointment, Chaudhary served as the Joint Commissioner of the Ahmedabad City Special Branch. Chaudhary, a 2009 batch IPS officer from the Gujarat cadre, was transferred following the fire incident in Rajkot and was without a posting for some time. In December last year, she was assigned to the Ahmedabad Special Branch before taking on her new role.
