Additional Charges Assigned to 3 IAS officers in Gujarat

Ajay Prakash, currently the Director of Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA), will now also take on the roles of Managing Director (MD) at both Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL) and Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL). These positions were previously held by Arun Mahesh Babu, who has been transferred. With this move, Ajay Prakash will now hold three significant posts within the state’s energy sector.

Meanwhile, Sujal Mayatra, currently the Additional Rural Development Commissioner, has been given additional charge as Managing Director of Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Limited (GLPC).

Similarly, B.M. Prajapati, also an Additional Rural Development Commissioner, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Gujarat State Rural Development Corporation (GSRDC). He takes over from Manish Kumar, who has been relieved from the post.
