Aashwita Lal and Deepak Kumar Appointed to Key Roles in NITI Aayog

Aashwita Lal joins as Director, while Deepak Kumar takes over as Deputy Secretary in NITI Aayog under the Central Staffing Scheme

Aashwita Lal, an IRS (IT) officer from the 2008 batch, has been appointed as Director in the NITI Aayog, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. Recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue, she will serve in this role for a period of five years or until further orders. She has been directed to take over her new assignment immediately after being relieved of her current duties.

Deepak Kumar, an ISS officer from the 2013 batch, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the NITI Aayog. Recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, he will assume the post from the date of taking over charge, for a tenure of five years or until further orders. He has also been instructed to join his new role without delay.
