29 IAS Officers From 2010, 2017, & 2022 Batches Promoted In Gujarat

The list of officers promoted includes Hardik Shah, currently serving in the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Director of Information, among others

The Gujarat government has issued another order granting promotions to a total of 29 IAS officers from the 2010, 2017 and 2022 batches. Of these, seven officers from the 2010 batch have been promoted to the Super Time Scale.

Among the notable promotions is that of Hardik Shah, who is currently serving as Private Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). His elevation to the Super-Time Scale is seen as a significant development. Similarly, K. L. Bachani, who is presently posted as Director of Information, Gujarat, has also been promoted.

The list of officers from the 2010 batch includes several district collectors. In addition, 12 officers in the Junior Administrative Grade have been promoted. These officers are largely serving as Municipal Commissioners and Deputy Municipal Commissioners across the state.

In a separate order, 10 IAS officers serving as Assistant Collectors have been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Level-11).

Overall, the latest round of promotions reflects the state government’s continued focus on career progression within the administrative services, with a significant number of urban administration officers benefiting from the move.
