24 IAS Officers Of 2010 Batch Empanelled For JS-Level Posts

The empanelment now enables the selected officers to be considered for senior policy-making and administrative roles across various central ministries and departments

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the empanelment of 24 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers (2010 batch), belonging to different cadres, for appointment to Joint Secretary or equivalent-level posts in the Union government.

This means that these officers will now be considered for senior policy-making and administrative roles across various Central Ministries and Departments, making them eligible to hold the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent senior positions in the Union government.

Their roles in the Union government will involve formulation of national policies, inter-ministerial coordination and implementation of flagship government programmes and schemes.

The empanelled officers represent a wide range of state and joint cadres, reflecting diversity in administrative experience across the country. Officers from AGMUT, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and others are included in the list.
